Your manuscript must be received by July 15th, 1998.

DOCUMENT LENGTH

Camera-ready copy should not exceed SIX pages.
In case of overlength manuscripts additional page charges will be invoiced.

DOCUMENT FORMAT - A4 PAGES

It is preferred that camera-ready contributions be supplied on DIN A4 format (210 mm x 297 mm) with :

TOP MARGIN = 20 mm
LEFT MARGIN = 20 mm
RIGHT MARGIN = 20 mm
BOTTOM MARGIN = 20 mm

Text and graphics must be kept within a printable area of 170 mm wide by 257 mm high.
It is imperative that in any case nothing appears on a page outside these margins.

DOCUMENT FORMAT - US LETTER PAGES

In case of 8 1/2" x 11" format pages, the margins must be :

TOP MARGIN = 1/2"
LEFT MARGIN = 13/16"
RIGHT MARGIN = 1"
BOTTOM MARGIN = 3/8"

Text and graphics must be kept within a printable area of 6 11/16" wide by 10 1/8" high.
It is imperative that in any case nothing appears on a page outside these margins.

DOCUMENT FORMAT - GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Text copy must be typed single space within a two-column format with at least 10 mm between columns.

FONTS

A serif font, such as Times, no smaller than 10 point, must be used.

TITLE AND AUTHOR(S) AFFILIATION

Center title, set in bold, initial caps, across the entire printable area (14 point font recommended).
Center author(s) name, below title (12 point font recommended).
Center affiliation names, below author(s) name (12 point font recommended).

ABSTRACT

A brief abstract, one column wide, in italic, with the same font size as the main text, must be included as the first section of the paper.

HEADINGS

Section headings must be set in bold, small capitals, with the same font size as the text, and placed flush on the left-hand margin of the column.
Subsection headings must be set in bold, title case, with the same font size as the text, and placed flush on the left-hand margin of the column on a separate line.
Subsubsection headings must be set in italic, title case, with the same font size as the text, and placed flush on the left-hand margin of the column on a separate line.

EQUATIONS

Equations must be centered in the column.
Equation numbers must be set in parentheses and placed flush with right-hand margin of the column.

ARTWORKS
Illustrations and photographs (black and white, glossy) must be provided in position within the text.
Figures must be centered in the column. Figure captions must be formatted as follows:

Figure 1: This is the caption of figure number one

TABLES

Tables must be centered in the column. Table captions must be formatted as follows:

Table 1: This is the caption of table number one

ACRONYMS

Any acronym must be defined the first time it appears.

REFERENCES

In the main text, a bibliographical reference must be typed in square brackets (e.g. [1]).
All bibliographical references must be listed and numbered at the end of the paper.
An example of the format for the list of references is as follows:

[1] A.B. Author, Title of Book, IEEE Press, New York, 1993.
[2] J.Q. Author, "Title of Paper," Journal, Vol. 10, No. 3, March 1998, pp. 1-20.
