Luca Giugno was born in Taranto, Italy, on May 5, 1976. He received the Doctor Engineer degree (cum laude) in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2001. Since 2001, he has been with the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa where he is currently pursuing the Research Doctor degree. His research interests include the area of digital communication theory and satellite digital systems, with special emphasis on channel coding and iterative decoding, modulation techniques and synchronization methods. |
