Biography

Umberto Mengali is Professor Emeritus of Telecommunications from the University of Pisa. He has published about one hundred journal papers and has co-authored the book 'Synchronization Techniques for Digital Receivers' (Plenum Press).

Research interests

His expertise and general interests span the area of wireless communications and ultra-wideband systems, with emphasis on synchronization methods and modulation techniques.
