Excerpt from the Preface

...

The workshops are an opportunity for students to meet and compare ideas with experts who are not their actual tutors. Clearly, they also learn in sufficient depth about the research carried about by fellow Ph.D. students. Each presentation has an adequate amount of time available and each workshop is on a specific theme within the vast context of information engineering. This leads to a high level of coverage in outlining each topic and then going into depth.

...

This book contains summaries of the presentations, and were prepared by the students in their role as future presenters as part of their preparation for the workshop. Each summary contains the title, keywords, and the names of the student’s tutors.
